Two roads which lead in and out of Alsager have closed simultaneously, leaving residents with no choice but to extend their journeys.
Radway Green Road and Alsager Road both closed today and will not reopen until Friday, July 4. Both roads provide entrance and exit points to the A500.
Radway Green Rd has been shut by Cheshire East so SP Energy Networks can carry out utility repair and maintenance works. Alsager Rd falls into Staffordshire County Council territory and has also been closed for repairs.
