AFC Alsager has unveiled its new logo, as the club continues to grow rapidly.
The Swans will be sporting a fresh look next season, after launching a bold new badge. It features a swan above water with its wings spread out.
AFC Alsager’s old logo often caused confusion, as except for the colour scheme, it was virtually identical to Swansea City’s badge. As well as this, the original file of the logo had been lost, meaning the club had to rely on a screenshot, which lowered its resolution.

While revealing the club’s new look, its social media admin took time to reflect on how far the club has come since its establishment in 2012. Next season, AFC Alsager is hoping to have more than 35 teams, featuring more than 500 players across a variety of age groups.
Along with its competitive teams, AFC Alsager runs two weekly community football sessions – AFC Wildcats and AFC Cygnets, for girls and young children respectively. Also, the club has joined forces with the Alsager Football Group, a local community organisation which runs a casual match every Friday night.
The Facebook post read: “None of this [the club’s teams] would happen without our brilliant coaches. Volunteers who give up their spare time for their community club, to help us change lives through sport. Their hard work and dedication is so appreciated and we cannot thank them enough.
“We also must thank our valued club partners and sponsors. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to operate and get as many people playing football as we currently do. Thank you! If you’re interested in joining us as a sponsor then please get in touch.
“Lastly, we are also absolutely delighted to announce our new club badge! This is an important step in our club’s history, and given the growth we are currently seeing and the current strength of the club, we felt now was the right time to make such a change!
“Once again, thank you to everyone who supports our great club. Everyone involved wears “The Swan” with great pride, and we can’t wait to see what the future brings!
“We have some exciting plans and hope you will continue the journey with us.”
