The Member of Parliament for the Congleton constituency has recently created a YouTube channel to post her speeches in the House of Commons.
Sarah Russell MP launched the channel last month and has uploaded 17 videos where she discussed both local and national issues. The channel currently has a modest seven followers.
Posting on the Alsager Community Facebook page, Russell said: “I post as much as I can on my page of my contributions in Parliament, but the clips are often a lot longer than what I can share.
“There’s now a YouTube channel that you can check or subscribe to to see when I’ve spoken. I refer back to our constituency, and sometimes specific cases that you’ve shared with me, as much as possible.”
Russell was elected as an MP at the general election last year. The Labour candidate received 38 per cent of the vote share, defeating long-time Conservative MP Fiona Bruce by 3387 votes.
