A local election will take place on March 27 to decide a new town councillor for Alsager’s East Ward.
This comes after Labour member Joe Davies made the decision to step down as a councillor due to work commitments.
The most recent local election in Alsager was also in the East Ward, as independent candidate Sue Helliwell was re-elected to the council last October.
The candidates standing for next week’s election are as follows:
- June Buckley (Lib Dems)
- Andy Large (Reform UK)
- Brian Lomas (Independent)
Those who wish to cast their vote next Thursday can do so from 7am-10pm at Alsager Civic Centre on Lawton Road.
