An Indian restaurant in Alsager is leading a vote to be named Staffordshire’s best eastern restaurant of the year.
Indian Heaven currently has over 1200 votes on the poll run by Our Staffordshire News, which is 35 per cent of the overall share.
While Alsager is officially part of Cheshire, its Staffordshire postcode means Indian Heaven has been included in the poll.
Alessi in Audley is second with just over 1000 votes. The restaurant, which is also popular with Alsager residents, is no stranger to receiving awards, having been named the UK’s restaurant of the year three times in a row at the annual Nation’s Curry Awards.
Facebook users have until March 21 to cast their vote and they can do so by clicking here.
