Alsager Animals in Need has posted an ‘urgent’ message asking a willing resident to provide a permanent or temporary home for two dogs.
Bridie, a four-year-old dachshund x frenchie and Ruby, a two-year-old dachshund, are no longer able to remain with their owner, who is receiving palliative care. They will have to be separated if no one is willing to take them in.
Alsager Animals in Need posted: “They are both really beautiful girls, very affectionate and loving, they just love to be on you or by your side and must go together.
“They have been used to someone at home most of the time. They have been left up to three hours on occasions. They are good with dog savvy older children, but have no experience with cats.”
The mother and daughter would be best suited to a home without any other dogs and will be restarting their vaccinations soon.
Anyone seriously considering adopting or fostering the pets should call Lisa on 07970194929 or Hilary on 07939255444 at any time between 11am and 6pm.
Alsager Animals in Need will conduct a home check on anyone looking to house the dogs and a minimum donation fee must be offered.
