Local business owner in Alsager vows to provide free meals for those in need

One local restaurant owner has offered to provide free meals every Monday for those struggling to afford their essential food items.

Brad Lancaster, who is the managing director of Caster’s and The Vault, runs a meal prep company which will provide a packaged meal on a Monday evening of the recipient’s choice.

Anyone in need of a free meal can contact 07983436944 on Whatsapp to collect a meal which requires no preparation, except to be heated in a microwave.

Commenting on the initiative, Brad said: “Time to give back.

“Over the years & through lockdown I have been fortunate enough to be in a position to help others where I can. We have given thousands of free meals to those who need it the most.

“On a daily basis, I can see nothing but struggles from families, parents, singles & elderly. Over the next few months I would like to help where I can.

“As some may know, I run a meal prep company. Every Monday I want to feed those who need it the most for free. Simply get in touch and I will be happy to supply you or your family, parents, or grandparents a packaged meal that you simply have to microwave for a Monday evening of your choice.”

Brad has said he will not be able to provide for everyone who gets in touch, but that he will ‘endeavour’ to do his very best.
