Alsager will be getting a new town councillor covering the Central Ward.
The town is divided into three electoral wards – East, West and Central. There are 15 councillors across the three wards.
An election will be called to decide the new councillor if ten electors in the Central Ward give notice to the Returning Officer requesting one, within 14 working days.
